1930's

1936 Elgin Twin 20 Custom

This mid 30's bike looks more like a space ship than a bicycle, with it's twin tube suspension bridge frame featuring flow head tube and rocket bottom bracket cowling. Originally equipped with skip link cogs and chain, this ride now has been hot rodded with Dayton wheels and modern transmission. The original seat post, bars, stem and grips remain intact.

1939 Elgin Balloon Custom

Elgin built some great ballooners in the 30's; this one features smooth filleted joints and swept back seat tube design. The original Mussel Man finned hubs are laced with stainless D.T. spokes into alloy Araya 7x rims. The o.g. Elgin rocket ship or "coke bottle" grips are both stylish and functional. Although a custom, this ride retrains the solid feel of the old skool pre-war rollers.
