On Friday, July 5th Skull Skates co-sponsored the BA. KU. barrier jam and best trick contest presented by Gullwing Trucks that immediately followed the Whistler bowl jam. The barriers were annihilated in repeated, violent tight transition 'rituals'. Barrier Kult originators Depth Leviathan Dweller and Deer Man of Dark Woods were on hand to skate, judge and distribute prizes. Kai ended up taking top honors with a deck, trucks and $100 US.
