Puerto Escondido is a famous surf spot known for it's "Mexican Pipeline" bone crushing shorebreak. Just a little bit south of the surf spot is a river that flows into the ocean creating sandbars and near perfect streams for skimboarding. The heat called for a late day into early evening session when the session's host, Noell, warned to watch out for crocodiles in the deep water as we crossed to the opposite riverbank!
