The mid 80s style builds at PD's Hot Shop in Vancouver are definitely taking hold of people's imaginations. With bowl skating and slappy culture back in the limelight and younger skaters doing their homework finding out where all the tricks came from, who the original punk vert pros were, etc. - they want a piece of the early-mid 80s action, and rightfully so. It's gone way beyond simple nostalgia as the reissue boards are still very much shred-ready.
