Interesting cross generational day at PD's hot Shop in Vancouver today. Two local women decided to come in to build two re-issue Powell completes - a Lance Mountain and a Mike McGill, both built with re-issue Bones wheels and re-issue Gullwing Pro III's. Then, no sooner were they picking out the parts, a super OG legendary Vancouver punk [from the late 70s, early 80s hardcore scene] came in to pick up a board that was more agile that he can shred it up on the streets a bit more. He went for a 8.75" wide Skull Skates BA. KU. 'DMODW Disguise' deck. Two women that ride popsicles on ramp and street get some old school sticks to tear apart some banks and curbs with, and the old school OG punk that usually ride late 80s style set-ups goes for the street shredder. Cool.
