Doug Cals emailed Skull Skates these great pics of a vintage Skull Skates Life's a Beach deck (with the super cult Hardcore top graphic) built with Gullwing Pros and Rat Bones(?). One of the Barrier Kult originators Depth Leviathan Dweller was visiting PD's Hot Shop in Vancouver with his board the same week the email arrived and the similarities were stunning. DLD's board features the Skull Skates Life's a Beach reissue with the BA. KU. Gullwing Pro-3 prototypes and Mini-Cubics. Nice opportunity to do a new / old photo comparison.
