Definitely have been a notable 1980s complete skateboards being assembled at PD's Hot Shop in Vancouver over the last few weeks. Note some of the gnarly colour coding.
- Original Old Ghosts Hippie Stick deck in great condition, brought by to get revitalized with new Gullwing Super Pro 3 re-issue trucks and blue re-issue Mini-Cubics.
- Andy Anderson came by the Hot Shop to build a Skull Skates Diehard Legion board with white Mini-Cubics his own white Powell Mini Logo trucks. Complete with Skull Skates Old School skid plate.
- Jason Jessee Neptune re-issue with Gullwing Super Pro 3 re-issue trucks and soft Sector 9 cruiser wheels that have a nice later 80s cut. Just put some Hosoi Rockets on there and you have basically what Jason Jessee rode back in the day.
- A dedicated local came by with some parts to deck out a new BA. KU. Depth Leviathan Dweller deck. Nice newer aftermarket Sex Bolts and everything.
- The one and only Gurl23 dropped by to build a BA. KU. Deer Man of Dark Woods deck up to spec with Gullwing BA. KU. Super Pro 3 trucks and the Skull Skates BA. KU. wheels.
